We spent another weekend with Jonah and now we are lonely grandparents again. Here is a picture of Jonah & Mommy feeding some ducks.
Going down the slide all by himself - like a big boy!I forgot to put this in my last post - a picture of me using my Featherweight in the camper. I was fixing the new shower curtain. I also worked on the star blocks pictured below.
These are the star blocks that I will be making into doll quilts.
I won another giveaway from Barb in American Samoa!!! I got this bracelet and...
these awesome batik fat quarters. Any suggestions as to what I should make with these? Aren't they gorgeous? Thank you so much, Barb!
Jonah is growing! Love your machine in your camper - fun fun! and WOW a winner, you are! *HUGS* thanks for keeping us up to date! Retirement looks good one you! Or is it, Retirement agrees with you! Whatever it is, you looks great and I know you are enjoying it! How's your hubby? Blessings to you both!
ReplyDeleteLucky gal! Those fabrics are great; I'm sure you'll come up with something fantastic to make with them. Just let them "stew" for a while - I find that's how some of my best ideas come about. (Usually at 2am...) Your grandson is adorable, too. I love the "big boy" slide photo - he looks so excited.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely giveaway prize! Like Katie said, let them "stew" for a bit and I'm sure you'll come up with the perfect use for them. Doll quilts with those little star blocks will be very pretty. You are definitely a quilter, even quilting on the go! Jonah looks like a sweetheart and well on his way to "big boy" status. -Joanne
ReplyDeleteYOur grandson is soooo cute....
ReplyDeleteGlad you got the package okay....
Great pictures of your grandson, he is a cutie and getting so big! I love the stars for the dolly quilt, the fabrics are so pretty. Congrats on the win, that is great. I love the picture of you sewing in the camper, it is wonderful you can take it with you! Have fun!
ReplyDeleteJonah is a sweetie! I bet you miss him very much. Your star blocks are fabulous! Nice bracelet and pretty batiks. You're a lucky girl! Ann :-)
ReplyDeleteYes, you should make "my" batik quilt! Check it out on my blog...and search for batik. It's the only quilt I've made from batiks.

Hey! You're looking good in the new camper and your featherweight fits nicely!! LOL
ReplyDeleteJonah is a doll.
Oh, what pretties you got there;) You could make a tote out of them to take with you along on your camping trips;)
ReplyDeleteAnd how great it is that you get to take your sewing with you;) Maybe that alone is reason enough for the hubby and I to get a camper!! LOL;)
Happy Quilting/Camping!!
Jonah looks like he is having fun, I especially like the picture of him on the slide.
ReplyDeleteGreat give-aways you got.
I like your star blocks, those small floating stars were on my list, glad you reminded me.
Great photo of you and the featherweight on the go...
All the photos from your trip have been wonderful, but especially the pics of the grandchildren (that's from one grandmother to another). I am envious of the featherweight--absolutely perfect for travelling. Love the stars and the batiks. You've been having a good time and good luck too! Mary
ReplyDeleteYou may be missing Jonah, but with that nice camper and sewing machine, I figure you will be on the road again before long, just to see that cutie! Love your stars! ---"Love"
