After our weekend in Arkansas, we went to Florida to to visit DS#2, DIL & Abigail for a weekend. It was such fun to get to spend some time with Abigail (16 months) again. They change so fast at this age! She's learning to feed herself!
It's hard to get these sunglasses on! They keep falling off.
We visited the Pensacola lighthouse.
This is the home attached to the lighthouse decorated as it would have been in the 1800's. Don't you love the quilts?
A cradle for the baby.
We found some good camping places too and I'll post a few pictures next time.

  1. Looks like you are having a ball with visits to both grandkids, what fun! The quilts at the lighthouse are wonderful, can't wait to see more pictures and hear all about your first camping trip!

  2. Abigail is a cutie! How nice that you were able to visit.

I love seeing old quilts in historic homes. I like the mix of blue and pink in the baby quilt. My husband and brother's quilts are like that - since the makers didn't know if baby was a boy or girl, they just put both in so it worked either way. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

  3. Sounds like you had a wonderful time with those much loved grandchildren! Thanks for sharing those lighthouse pictures and the quilts and furniture; I'd love to see them in person! ---"Love"

  4. Bless her heart, isn't Abigail just gorgeous. What a nice place to visit and what a bonus to find quilts.

  5. What a cutie!!! I'll have a grandson soon myself to take bunches of pictures of;) Love the quilts in the lighthouse-house (almost sounds right..LOL)
    Happy Quilting!!

  6. Abagail is adorable!! They do change fast dont they??
I love lighthouses and seeing how the room is decorated. A fun little side trip for you!

  7. Abigail is just adorable. Glad you got to see her.
Looks like you have been having fun on your travels. I like the lighthouse and the quilts and the4 furniture
