GUILD CHRISTMAS MEETING

Last week was my quilters guild Christmas pot luck at our president's lovely home. In her entry way, she has a treadle sewing machine decorated for Christmas.
She also has a doll collection.
This penny rug came from a silent auction in Midlothian, TX. I love it!
I love her doll trunk with the clothes. There's even a tiny hanky in the trunk. When I was a girl I really wanted one of these trunks.
Another doll can play the piano!
This is the center medallion of our guild's raffle quilt for next year. Isn't it gorgeous!!
Our vice president made this quilt for her granddaughter.
I received the yo-yo Christmas tree in the ornament exchange.
A merry time was had by all! Merry Christmas to all of you!

  1. I used to have a similar doll clothes trunk when I was a child.
The medallion center is going to make a beautiful quilt.

  2. Beautiful decorations! Thank you for sharing.

And, congratulations on your retirement. A new chapter in your book of life - enjoy!

I've been meaning to comment on your candy canes - very cute. Something to do in the not too distant future. :-)

  3. I've been looking back through this wonderful blog, and realized that you won the silent auction on the Dash Away All runner the day we were together. I thought that was one of the cutest things there that day; glad you got it! ---"Love"
