Just a short post with a couple pictures. I have been doing some sewing in the camper this week as I get up at about 5:00 each morning (don't ask me why because I don't know). I brought a box with some log cabin block fabric cut and I made 20 of them. I will have to get more logs cut in order to make more. I'm not sure how big I am going to make it, or how many I have made already, but at this point it is a travel project. I like to bring easy sewing projects that I can work on in the mornings.
Today is DS's graduation - a associate degree in nursing! He is very excited about it and has a job lined up.
Glad you are getting in some sewing time - love your log cabin blocks! Congrats to DS - what a wonderful accomplishment.
ReplyDeleteNice to know you are accomplishing some sewing while on the trip. Those blocks remind me of the cowboy log cabin quilt I made for son #2. Enjoy the excitement and success with your son today; glad he has a job to follow! ---"Love"
ReplyDeleteGood to have a travel project and log cabin is perfect. When we had our fifth wheel, hubby and grandson would go off fly fishing and I would drag out my sewing machine--------loved it.

I always enjoy log cabins - both to sew and to look at in a quilt.
