Yesterday, Lori Dejarnatt presented her program "Why I Quilt" at my quilt guild meeting (Gone to Pieces Quilt Guild) here in McMinnville! We had a wonderful time and of course she brought a lot of quilts to share with us. Here are a few pictures.

Lori had a table to sell some of her patterns and fabric. This is what I bought.

I love this quilt! |
Thanks, Lori, for coming to share your quilts and enthusiasm with us!
How fun to see Lori's presentation. I understand you got to host her.
ReplyDeleteI would love to be able to see her and her work in person someday.
You are so fortunate to have been able to meet Lori and see those beautiful quilts in person. That world map fabric would make a great backing for a quilt.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! I love the fabric you chose. And all those tiny pieces in the third quilt photo - yikes! She is not what I imagined her to look like in my head - much younger and cuter, not that I imagined an old ugly lady either! She actually looks like she could be a sister to my college roommate - they have a similar face shape and smile. Did she inspire you to start anything new? Then again, you did buy that pattern...
ReplyDeleteI had so much fun!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilts. Sew nice she could come and speak to your group.
ReplyDeletehow great to see Lori's quilts in person! lucky you
