We are now camping at Bar Harbor, Maine and on Monday we went to Acadia National Park. This is the only national park we have been to that is right on a coast - I don't know if it IS the only one on a coast or not. It was a perfect day to be near the ocean - sunny and warm, but not hot!

Yesterday we went to the town of Bar Harbor, which is a typical tourist trap. The scenery is beautiful, though!

Today it is raining, so we will probably hunker down in the camper. Our next stop will be Boston - we leave for there tomorrow.
Beautiful pictures!

I have enjoyed seeing the country through your travels. Bar Harbor is lovely!!
ReplyDeleteBy the time you return home, you will have written a travel guide of the entire eastern US! Add to that your last trip to the northwest, and you will have experienced so much more of "America The Beautiful" than most of us will ever see (except through your wonderful pictures)! Thanks AGAIN! Stay safe! ---"Love"
ReplyDeleteYour pictures of Maine are gorgeous. My sister lives in Topsham, near Portland. It sounds like you are having a wonderful trip. Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteLooks beautiful. Too cool for a swim?
ReplyDeleteSorry about the rain, maybe you can use the time to sew.
Can't wait to see a bit of Boston.
How wonderful! Wish it were me!
ReplyDeleteHave fun on your way to Boston.
