We just arrived in New Hampshire, after leaving New York on Tuesday and spending Wednesday through this morning in Vermont. It is really beautiful up here and the weather is getting cooler each day.
Some of our adventures included visiting a sheep farm and eating sheep's milk yogurt (pretty good);
Seeing lots of painted moose statutes - I'm hoping to see a real moose in New Hampshire or Maine;
Even a painted moose inside a store!
Also numerous covered bridges.
But so far, I haven't found any quilt shops! However, we are close to Keepsake Quilting, so plan to go there tomorrow! Can't wait! I'm making a list and hoping I can find some bargains there.
I'd love to go back. Second time around I'd have a plan!! lol
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful there. Your post makes me want to go back.
Oh, I am sooo jealous. DD#1 moved to NH last May. She is 10 minutes from Keepsake Quilting. I want to visit her THIS year, but DH says we need to wait until NEXT year. Looks like a lovely place. : )
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are having a wonderful trip! Hope you received your bloggy win gift from me. Don't know if you have been home yet!
ReplyDeleteTake care :o)
Wouldn't your grandkids have fun with the sites you've seen! And surely you'll find a quilt store soon. What a treat it will be to get to go to Keepsake! Hope the severe storms that seem to be heading your way lose strength before they get there! Stay safe! ---"Love"
ReplyDeleteI was able to visit Vermont and New Hampshire a few years ago. I'd love to go back.

Is it wrong that I now want a painted moose? Seriously! Love the one outside.
ReplyDeleteI have heard that Keepsake is a bit overwhelming, so I hope you have your list ready! Enjoy.
