MINI TUMBLER QUILT FINISHED

Back in August, I blogged about a giveaway I won from Rogue Quilter and part of it was a bunch of mini tumbler pieces in reds, whites & blues.  I got it sewn together pretty quick and finally quilted and bound it.  It will make a nice addition to my "patriotic" decor!  Thanks Janet!

I had the perfect backing for it - American flags!  I used this fabric on my civil war quilt.


Here it is hanging on my fence.  It measures 12 1/2" x 18".  Each piece is 2" x 2" (at the wide end) and there are 72 of them.


I plan to bind my log cabin quilt soon and will be posting about it again (yes, again) soon.

    I so like patriotic fabrics for quilts. Your tumbler in the small size will be so nice for displaying. I like!

    Well, you know already that I love the cute little tumbler! Several weeks I decided to start cutting misc. scraps into little tumblers --- I cut two and stopped. I should start again maybe soon, and of course, with R/W/B! See how you inspire me? ---"Love"

    Oh, Ruth, it turned out so cute! And you did the hard thing and bound it without cutting the edges straight. I am impressed. I always take the easy route and slice the sides off.
    Nice photo shoot. And that really is the perfect backing!
