Back on October 31 I told you about making a book with the song "The Teddy Bears' Picnic" for Jonah. I also made one for Abigail and here is a picture of me reading (actually singing) the book to her.
I ended up printing the book for Abigail on our printer and if the books get wrecked, I think I will have them printed at Staples, because they would come out better. The song is very old and I think it is so sweet. Both Jonah and Abigail seem to enjoy the book (even with my singing) Hee Hee!
Two year olds are so adorable! Jonah is 7 months older than Abigail and in some ways they are so alike, but other ways so different. Abigail is a little drama queen. Jonah is all boy. Oh, I hate not living close enough to see them every week. We have 5 more precious days with Abigail, then back to Texas with a short stop in Louisiana.
Finally! For some reason, I have been unable to comment on your last two posts. Loved that little book you put together and so glad your grandchildren love it, too! Isn't it fun being the Grandmom?

I'd bet Abigail and Jonah both wish you lived close enough to visit everyday too! Such sweethearts they are; enjoy every minute. You'll have lots of good times to ponder in your heart when you get home. Have safe traveling! ---"Love"
ReplyDeleteStaples might also be able to laminate and bind the books for you. I think that's where we go for our laminating needs, but I could be wrong.
ReplyDeletelove the memories, and girls and boys are SO different, it's more than just parenting, it's natural!
Your book was such a wonderful idea. They will enjoy them for a long time!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad your grandchildren are enjoying the book. Getting Grandma to read it is a lovely bonus!
ReplyDeleteYour book was such a good idea and it looks like the kids think so too.
ReplyDeleteI love what you did with the book;) I saw some recordable books at the mall this holiday season...not the stories I would want to read though. I was thinking of recording some Dr. Seuss books to send to the grandson, but that will have to wait;) Glad you are having such a great time with the kids and family;)
ReplyDeleteHappy Quilting!!
