TOO BUSY TO POST?

My excuse for not blogging for a whole week is - I've been busy with projects, basting and quilting!  Here are some of them.

A cloth book for a baby shower coming up.

2 inside pages.  These pictures are so cute!!

I saw this at the last quilt show that I went to and couldn't resist buying the panel and making it into a wall hanging.  Not quite done yet.  It still needs binding.  I bought the panel from Jody Houghton Designs.  She has so many cute panels and products.

This is a donation quilt for a veteran.  Just finished it so I can turn it in at my guild meeting on Monday.

I quilted it as I went - in other words - I quilted it randomly.  Part of it is swirls and large stippling, then I changed to wavy lines and put some feathers inside some of the HSTs.  It just seemed to be needing some different quilting designs.

I think I bought this panel at a quilt show "boutique" and had fun quilting it just going around the boxes, houses, trees, etc.  It needs binding.

I got these 2 table runners quilted and now I need to bind them.

I've gotten behind on my  Moda Block Heads blocks, but here are a couple.

I now have 3 more of the 6 1/2" blocks to do to be caught up.  I couldn't work on them because I had ordered some of the background fabric and was waiting for it to come in to the LQS.  They called me yesterday, so I'll go pick it up today and maybe I'll be able to get caught up.

I'm sorry I haven't commented on very many blogs lately, but I haven't had very much time to read them.  Happy quilting!

  1. That cloth book looks adorable! You have certainly had some fun with fabric panels lately.
I love your bee skep block. Great background!
There just isn't enough time to do it all, is there? I often choose to comment on blogs rather than sew, because it takes less energy. Pretty lame, right? : )

  3. What a neat idea to quilt a cute little book and wall hanging for a baby shower! Both will be loved, by mother and baby. The geometrics in the table runners intrigue me, as well as the borders around your patriotic piece; I love that one! Your Block Head blocks look great! Your Block 7 has inspired me to quit procrastinating; I'm actually going to at least get started on mine today! ---"Love"
