HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

I thought I'd share some of the antique valentines that were in my Mother's collection.  (She never threw a card away).   These are about 100 years old.  Aren't they sweet?



Valentine's day makes me think of my grandmother, who was born 135 years ago today.

    Such a treasure! Are they from classmates? (Curious if handing out Valentine cards was as expected then as it is today...)

    Oh, it would be wonderful to have the antique Valentine cards. Especially ones that were given to a family member. Love the doilies too.

    Those cards are so much better than the stuff they have nowadays;) Wow.....135 years? That's almost half the time we've been a real country!! LOL;)

    Happy Valentine's Day! Love your antique Valentines. I had an English teacher in high school who had a collections of them and she brought them in to show us. They really were special tokens back them, weren't they?
