Yesterday and today I am vending with a friend at a craft show at the Polk County Fair Grounds in Rickreal, OR (which is 20 miles from our homes).  Pictures following.

This vintage table runner was found when I went to "Vintage, Etc." shop in Northfield, MN.  It is in excellent condition and I might sell it on Etsy or Ebay.

I went to a quilt shop in Des Moines, IA and found this panel (I may have shown it to you already) by Kim Diehl.  I love her patterns and this is a "cheater" panel!  I HAD to get it.  I'm making a wall hanging with the square on the left, which I will put a few borders around, and will make a table runner with the 4 blocks on the right.  I think I'll add flying geese on the sides that have spaces.

I was able to finish a donation quilt top made out of 4 patches that I had sewn together a long time ago - I put 4 of them together with navy blue sashing.  Don't know when I will quilt it.

Here's another EZ Breezy table runner made with more fabric that I bought in Iowa - it is very bright and cheerful.

The back of the table runner.  I'm making another one out of reproduction civil war fabric which is also yellows and blues, but a totally different look.

We are having beautiful weather here!  Have a great weekend!

  1. You have been very busy! I love that runner you quilted, as well as the vintage one. Also those Kim Diehl blocks and panel. One of the women in our quilt ministry has made a lot of Kim Diehl patterns, two of which I have to quilt for her to donate to the church camp benefit auction later this year.

  2. It looks like you're keeping busy! I hope you do well at the craft sale. And the more I see that table runner, the more I love it. (I don't need temptation, though!)

  3. I hope your show was successful! I know you had fun but hope you made a little mad money while you were at it!!

  4. what a nice table runner - I like that wavy quilting.
I hope you had a successful craft fair! Your booth looks very inviting.
    cute applique blocks.

  5. The booth display is laid out very pleasingly. Nice to see what sort of things you are making for sale.
Oh, how I admire your "Dear Jane" displayed so lovingly in your header picture.

  6. Hope your sale went well; your booth looks really nice. You've accomplished a lot more than I have lately. The 4-patch quilt is cute, and I love the table runner. Your quilting on it is so special! ---"Love"

  7. Enjoyed your post Ruth and hope your sale went well

  8. That's a great way to use up scrappy 4 patch blocks. It has a bright, happy feeling.
