Baby quilt and egg basket

It's been quite a while since I posted a blog. Thanks so much to all who commented on my last post, especially all your sweet remarks about our son returning from Iraq.

My boss will become a Grandfather soon, so I'm making a baby quilt out of some 3o's charm squares. I'll finish quilting and binding it this weekend so I can take it to work on Monday.
I bought this little wire basket at a garage sale and wasn't sure what it was used for. I found these ceramic eggs at an antique shop & thought they would look cute in the basket!

Thanks for visiting!

You can't go wrong with those fabrics for a baby quilt. The basket does look like it was supposed to have eggs in it. So glad your son is safe home with his family.
