As I mentioned in my last post earlier today, I am participating in Lori's Pink Lemonade quilt along. I didn't have enough yellow for the alternating blocks. I took pictures of the blocks set on top of the two choices that I have. If neither of these works, I will go buy something else. But, maybe one of these will be OK. Please let me know your opinion on which of the yellow looks best - or, if you don't like either one, tell me that too. I think I have enough of either to cut the pieces required.
A.
I vote for A
ReplyDeleteI think they both would probably work but I like the first one better. Cute little quilt.
ReplyDeleteI would choose A. B looks too sparse.
ReplyDeleteI think A looks a little softer looking, so that's my choice of the two. Whatever you decide will be just fine! ---"Love"
ReplyDeleteI like the more cheddar look of B, unless that is just the lighting. I also like A, so it's your choice!
ReplyDeleteA !
ReplyDeleteI think I like the first one better...it looks like more of a true yellow. The other seems too gold.
ReplyDeleteEither one would be fine, but I think that because A has the fine print it makes the blocks stand out more. Love your blocks!
ReplyDeleteOf the two, I'd say A. I am strugeling with this right now as I am not a fan of most yellows...so I have not found the "right" color yet to finish mine.
ReplyDeleteI like "A". I agree that it is softer looking.
ReplyDeleteI think they both work, but "A" provides a little more visual contrast. The smaller print is a nice counterpoint to the larger graphics of the shoo-fly blocks. But maybe I have no clue as to what I am saying. : )
ReplyDeleteI think they both look great, don't buy use one of them love them
ReplyDeleteI'm hopeless - I can't decide! ann :-)
ReplyDeleteYou could use both, like the original.
ReplyDeleteI actually like B , its different and the flowers are just so pretty with your fabrics you chose for the blocks!

I like them both, so I don't think it really matters. Why don't you mix it up and use a little of each?

Another "A" vote here! I opened your blog and had to do a double-take because I thought I'd hit Ann Hermes' instead! It looks great!
ReplyDeleteI vote for A also. I think it works perfectly. No need to buy something else.
ReplyDeleteI also like A the best.

I like version A. I think the smaller print makes the blocks more pronounced.
ReplyDeleteI like the print of A but of B though I like the tone of B better than A. (Just muddying the waters ;-) I guess!)
ReplyDelete"A" would be my choice...isn't this a great little quilt?
ReplyDeleteRhonda I think it is A all the way. As it is more old fashioned like the bnlocks are tyo me I love them and it will be great.

I'm no help. I like them both!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like the A fabric is the favorite. I like B a lot too, so either way it will be great.
ReplyDeleteA is my favorite, too.
