Besides working on hand piecing my tumbler block rows together, I have been paper piecing these stars for a project that I don't want to tell about yet. I'm not very fond of paper piecing and I seem to have to unsew a lot when I do it.

Of course those butterfly blocks popped right up at me! Lovely keepsakes. And sweet sweet stars. Paper piecing alludes me but I love seeing what others do.
ReplyDeleteI have an egg basket like that one and I just love it! Great buys! blessings, marlene
ReplyDeleteOh my - how lucky were you at the garage sales! I love both chairs/rockers. Wouldn't it be lovely to make some more butterflies and finish the quilt. You stars look neat and tidy to me. I wonder what the finished project will look like? I bet there will be some red in there somewhere.
ReplyDeleteHappy Stitching...Ann :)
Wow - those are some great deals! I LOVE those star blocks you're making -- they look so perfect!
ReplyDeleteI just want to know what took you so long in deciding on the chairs...lol...I'm like you, just about a 1/2 second and they would have been in my car too. They are fantastic, love the quilt peices also. Are the butterflies large enough to make pillows to put in your rocker?
