Your quilting is lovely. Quilting is such a special art. We have quilts going back to my great-grandmother, also my husband's grandmother. Several of my friends are quilters and I'm always in awe of their work. I left a message for you (after your comment on my blog) about a resource for you when you're ready to start writing a memoir about your time in Lomalinda. I blog about how to write memoirs at Spiritual Memoirs 101 (https://spiritualmemoirs101.blogspot.com), and also there's a Facebook Page for it. I hope you'll find it inspiring! Happy New Year to you and your family!
Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06961495299893766830noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4132886906194353770.post-4404490665349107462021-01-02T09:04:18.101-08:002021-01-02T09:04:18.101-08:00Hi, Ruth! Sounds like you have kept busy and productive.
Personally, I think I would buy that quilt in a heartbeat, if it all looks as good as what we can see in the photo. That is a great price for such a beautiful piece (what can I say--I love purple).
It is nice that you could get out together and see some sights--love the view of Mt. Hood. It is so striking! I know when we drive close by it, it is very imposing.
Happy New Year to you!Janet O.https://www.blogger.com/profile/05083607398709252597noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4132886906194353770.post-16681683583156763002021-01-02T08:41:03.667-08:002021-01-02T08:41:03.667-08:00Happy New year! I'd be tempted badly to go back and take it home with me! Thanks for sharing your great scenic pictures. I always love seeing them. New Year's Day is almost gone, and I haven't accomplished anything; legs too crippled to move today, so I've just sat and watched TV or slept. Tomorrow has to change somehow. Hope all is well with all your family. ---"Love"---"Love"https://www.blogger.com/profile/14253789635330034057noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4132886906194353770.post-28054639659159434102021-01-01T15:40:45.248-08:002021-01-01T15:40:45.248-08:00All the best for 2021, Ruth. ❤😉 ;^)All the best for 2021, Ruth. ❤😉 ;^)Chantalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14772079099766225814noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4132886906194353770.post-61117344160921163022021-01-01T10:09:21.043-08:002021-01-01T10:09:21.043-08:00Hooray for finished UFOs! But I do hope you're around long enough to see the grands get married - lots of time to use up more scraps, right?! I'm happy to bid 2020 farewell and hope this year, unlike last, I will not be deemed "essential" and end up working more hours than the year before in an effort to keep the "essential" businesses running. (Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to be able to help and glad for something to do that was not sit home and worry, but some of those shifts I was wishing I was home quilting!) Enjoy the time with your sister - the fabric will be there when she goes home.Katiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01515254293191853580noreply@blogger.com
